Martin Stoefler
Compliance Expert
Martin is heading the compliance services section of OSM Solutions. He has filled a lot of different roles within his 17-year spanning career in IT Security. With a solid technical background, he has proven invaluable for the security management, design, implementation and evaluation work that he is focusing on today.
The type of projects Martin has been part of range from penetration testing of large international banks, designing and implementing anti-spam solutions for ISPs, technology migrations within high security areas, design & creation of security departments to market entries in newly created, highly regulated legislative environments and a lot more.
In the last few years of his career as the Head of Security for an international B2B gaming-platform provider, his main focus was the compliance and security of the complex solution offering, the coordination between internal & external stakeholders and the management of audits for regulated gaming markets.
As a side project, Martin has designed and implemented a compliance product which will be launched by OSM Solutions shortly.
Sebastian Strobl
Security Specialist
Sebastian manages the delivery of OSM Solutions‘ assurance services. He has over 10 years practical experience in delivering professional services in the areas of information security, IT governance, compliance, risk management, and information systems auditing. He is a certified professional in information systems and security auditing and holds a masters degree in information management and computer security.
Prior to his role at OSM Solutions‘ he was heading the assurance department at a publicly traded cyber security company. Before that, he was leading information systems audits for organizations in the online gaming and finance industry, providing a strong background in the online payment and gaming value chain, the underlying technology thereof, and industry specific regulations.
He retains an extreme depth of knowledge in security tools, technologies, and industry best practices, and is recognized for delivering top level value-adding IT audits. He is also responsible for the creation and deployment of innovative solutions to mitigate risks by protecting networks and application systems, safeguarding information assets and ensuring business continuity.
He specializes in delivering effective assurance and consultancy services, focusing on application and web-security architecture, as well as the integration with payment processing value chains.
Oliver Van Assche
Solutions Expert
Oliver Van Assche manages the delivery of OSM Solutions’ information security consultancy services with expertise in the area of information security drawing on 15 years of experience in the electronic integration of directive, detective, preventive, and corrective measures to mitigate identified corporate risks, safeguard corporate information assets, and to respond to the arising tumult in the event of an security incident. Over the years he has have archived and maintained several professional security certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC).
Prior to his role at OSM Solutions’, he was heading the advisory department at a publicly traded cyber security company. Within the earlier years of his career he had a high level of responsibility in running the security operations team for a world renowned online gaming company and payments service provider, ensuring that online gambling regulations were followed and PCI DSS level 1 compliance was maintained. Prior to this he was involved in the design, development and implementation of information security products in the fields of security information and event management (SIEM), configuration management and ticketing systems utilizing open source technologies.
Michael Tuchny
Security Analyst
Michael Tuchny is a dedicated Security Analyst with a focus on Penetration Testing across Web, Infrastructure, and Mobile platforms.
Michael’s journey into the world of cybersecurity began with a detour through business school, where he gained invaluable insights into corporate workings and business processes. Prior to realizing his true calling in Information Security, he ventured into the practical realm through an internship at an IT Consulting company. This hands-on experience motivated him to his career choice. Driven by his newfound passion, Michael transitioned to the University of Applied Science in St. Pölten. Here, he not only earned a Bachelor’s degree but also pursued and secured a Master’s degree (Diplom Ingenieur) in Information Security, while already working part-time at OSM Solutions.
Michael’s core competency lies in conducting thorough Penetration Tests, ensuring the robustness of our clients digital infrastructure. He is also experienced in operating security solutions while maintaining the compliance requirements (e.g. PCI DSS) of various industries.
